Traveling overseas and need to change the plug on your laptop or American device? This plug allows you to connect to a three prong recepticle in most European countries. The Schuko grounded plug is used overseas. In the USA we use the three prong plug to ground our electronics - mostly laptops and digital devices.
This 10 amp plug will change the Schuko recepticle to a USA three prong female. It will pass through the voltage to your electronics - IT WILL NOT CONVERT / TRANSFORM THE CURRENT. If the voltage is 220 volts then your electronics will receive 220 voltage. Check your electronic devices for its voltage requirments.
